\u201cSince 2015, Kijiji Night has been held at the Seattle Art Museum, but after the 2020 event, COVID-19 forced us to pause. We are excited to bring the spirit of the African Village back at the Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute,\u201d Simon Okelo, Founder & Executive Director of One Vibe Africa, said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Though the location changed in 2023, Okelo anticipates the festivities will be back to Seattle Art Museum and just as incredible as they have been in previous years.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The evening will feature special musical performances headlined by local musicians, a dynamic panel discussion with community leaders on the history of Black collaboration, storytelling and spectacular food.\u00a0<\/p>\n
